Press Information for immediate release Local musician Rick Trevino, Dale Watson and The Derailers launch new projects and partners with local horse charities to benefit children. Noon – 1:30 Tuesday December 28th Rick Trevino , Dale Watson and The Derailers will meet with children and horses at formal announcement of partnership and New Year’s Eve Celebration. Austin, TX December 28, 2010 : Popular recording artist and local icon Rick Trevino will be meeting with children representing 2 Central Texas charities who will benefit from his New Year’s Eve concert. Joined by Dale Watson, plus The Derailers well-known Austin recording artist, Rick and friends will sign autographs, meet the children and families, watch examples of the horses involved in the activities in front of the venue. Trevino has been at the top of the recording industry since 1993. After graduating from high school in “Austin, he had a successful single career before joining the legendary musical group “Los Super Seven”. He has many awards and has been at the front of the Austin music scene for almost two decades. He has recorded English and Spanish albums. To introduce the children and the horses to the artists who will play for them, EC Productions has organized a small free event for the community. The charities will explain what they do and how they care for the horses who work with the community, and help individuals overcome disabilities. The artists will entertain the audience with stories and conversation. Some of the horses will be on hand to meet the children and the community.
