About Top Horse Solutions
Shortly after retirement from the US Marine Corps in 2004, TOP spent each day working around horses and found their calming nature therapeutic. Fullfilling a life long dream of owning a horse, he purchased a 2 yr old Paint in 2006. Never having even heard of a lunge-line, TOP soon realized he had much to learn. He has spent the last 5 years studying and playing with over 200 horses. Many were horses of long-time horse owners, and TOP realized that both new and long-time horse owners had little understanding of how to communicate with horses and were inadvertantly causing many of the issues. Top took his training as an instructor in the Marine Corps, his undestanding of how people and horses learn and made understanding ground and saddle exercise simple for both horse and owner. His method of teaching owners to play with their horse has helped many create relationships built on communication, respect and trust.

I specialize in starting young horses, advanced training for horses already under the saddle, and private lessons for owners and riders. I also specialize in ground work, dressage, jumping, and some carriage driving.

About the Horse Boy Foundation
The Horse Boy Foundation is dedicated to socializing not only autistic children and children with special needs with horses, but to also provide any child with the nurturing therapeutic characteristics of horses. Children have proven to benefit greatly from The Horse Boy Foundation's therapeutic sessions. The Documentary “The Horse Boy” is a testament to the noble nature of a horse.
